A Focus On Our Second Wave Line-Up

ABODE in the Park returns this summer to showcase only the most astronomically-gifted names who encompass the ABODE ethos and musical creed. Having already announced the likes of Groove Armada, Santé and Sidney Charles, East End Dubs, Hector Couto, Cuartero, as well as our esteemed residents in our first wave line-up, we take a closer look at the second wave of artists set to tear up Finsbury Park on Sunday 23rd September…

With over twenty years in the game and still thundering on, Steve Lawler will bebringing Warriors toThe Terrace for a house and techno showcase. From illegal urban raves in the 90s to his iconic Space Ibiza residencies, they’ll all be contained in the epic story he tells through his DJing on 23rd September.

Radio1 presenter and producer Danny Howard’s poise and passion is immediately present whenever he steps up to the decks. Nimble and dexterous, Danny will host The Big Top where he brings his very own Nothing Else Matters event to the massive stage.

Hot Creations house specialist Lee Foss makes his long-awaited ABODE debut at Finsbury Park. Described by DJ Mag as “one of the most talented forces” in dance music and by Art Department as their favourite producer, it’s his work alongside Jamie Jones that has proved to be the most memorable. Unmissable.

A firm favourite with both long-standing house-heads and those just being first introduced to the scene, Waze & Odyssey cater to the many (with remixes for the likes of Rita Ora and R Kelly), whilst still creating life-defining moments that crowds will look back upon fondly in years to come.

Max Chapman is a name we have been dying to bring to ABODE in the Park – and the time is finally here! A recurrent face alongside the likes of Darius Syrossian, this London and Ibiza frequenter is one of the most exciting acts emerging in dance music with a massive career ahead of him.

With unparalleled production skills that have resulted in releases on the likes of Hot Creations, Defected and VIVa, Mark can chop vocals, create disarming inflections out of thin air and craft rhythmic tapestries of sound that will blow you away. Do not miss him!

Having leapt to international notoriety with a carefree charm in his selections and party productions, Nathan Barato’s prestigious releases can be found on labels like Hot Creations, Cajual and his own Roots and Wings label. It was only right that we brought him to ABODE in the Park 2018.

Resonance Records’ George Smeddles now boasts fans across the world thanks to his ability to straddle a multitude ofgenres during his sets as seen in his performances at Ministry of Sound. George is an undying torch within the industry and a welcome addition to the festival.
